Join us for a special story event learning hands-on about bus safety!

New Pre-K, Kindergarteners, & 1st-Graders are invited to a special Back-to-School Story Time, where we will read stories about school buses & then get to ride in a REAL school bus, all while learning about bus safety.

Story Time will begin at 11 am inside the library, then children and their caregiver will board the school bus following the story. Buses will depart after a brief explanation of bus safety. Participants will be given the opportunity to practice entering and exiting the bus safely, good bus etiquette, and ask the bus driver questions about being a courteous bus rider.

Due to limited space, registration is required. This event is for pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st-graders, along with their caregiver. Please register each child that will be participating.

Charles County Public Library events are accessible for all. If you have an accessibility request, please contact programs@ccplonline.org three business days prior to the event.
